The Employment Law Alliance (ELA) was founded in 2000 by Stephen Hirschfeld in San Francisco, and focuses on labour law. The alliance’s motto is "hire one lawyer, get the expertise of two thousand." No fewer than 54 law firms in the USA and overseas have since become members of ELA. Each represents its local market as an expert in labour law.

The IFA – founded more than 60 years ago – is an association operating worldwide with its seat in Rotterdam. The association promotes the study and advancement of international and comparative law with regard to public finance, specifically international and comparative fiscal law, and the financial and economic aspects of taxation.
