“And the CHSH LAWard 2010 goes to …”

CHSH Cerha Hempel Spiegelfeld Hlawati has answered this question in cooperation with the Director of Studies for Commercial Law at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU Wien). With a total prize fund of €3,500, the CHSH Best Thesis Award (LAWard 2010) is presented to those students who have written the best academic papers on the subject of commercial law.

As an international corporate law firm, CHSH aims to promote high-quality education and practical legal training and to support those students and graduates who have shown themselves to be particularly gifted and talented individuals.

The winners of this year’s LAWard will be selected by a distinguished panel of judges, headed by Professor Christoph Grabenwarter and Dr. Clemens Hasenauer, LL.M. (partner at CHSH), from the following categories:

§      Undergraduate dissertation;

§      Master’s thesis; and

§      PhD thesis.

Prizes will be presented at a special award ceremony to be held in the autumn of 2010.

Are you a student of commercial law at the Vienna University of Economics and Business or have you just graduated from there? Have you written an undergraduate dissertation, a Master’s thesis or a postgraduate thesis for which you, at the time of submitting your entry, have achieved a good or very good grade? Then there is nothing to stop you from taking part.

Academic papers which deal with questions and issues concerning the practice of commercial law may win an award.
